Dani J. Norwell is the author of Fairly Familiar: A Collection of Short Stories about family. As a writer of fiction and a sociologist by education, she explores themes of connection, disappointment, and personal development because of—and in spite of—our family bonds.
Born and raised in the United States, Dani J. is now based in the south of Spain, where she also works as the co-creator and writer of the Sincerely, Spain blog. She is currently working on her second collection of short stories, which all take place in Spain. When she is not reading or writing, you can find her traveling, sipping Spanish wine, or seeking out dogs to pet on her walks around town.
I’m so glad you’ve found my website and I hope this means we’ll stay in touch.
I’m not the most techy-savvy person around but I make an effort to stay active here on my website as well as my other social accounts. When I’m not working on my story-writing or writing one of 500 articles on the Sincerely, Spain blog, you can expect me to be preparing a monthly blog post for this website as well as gathering resources, exclusive content, and my personal stories into my monthly author newsletter—be sure to sign up below (I use this mailing list to send out details about all my projects before I share them anywhere else)!
I’m also on Goodreads, where you can leave reviews of my book as well as stay up-to-date on what I’m reading and see any Q&A or Giveaways I post. All that being said, the place where I’m most active online is probably Instagram, so be sure to give me a follow there for lots of updates and behind-the-scenes posts.
